Greetings, everyone; my name is Professor Wormwood. For those who are not familiar with my work already, I am a primarily known for my work on DeviantArt as a Professor of Pokémon, but I am also an avid fan and expert on the worlds of Metroid and, as you might expect, Pikmin. To me, these universes possess an innate scientific nature that has yet to be fully exploited by the creators of the series, so I have taken it upon myself to bring a scientific light to these universes to try to understand them as if they were truly real and existed just outside our front doors. This is not an easy task for any group of individuals, let alone one man, but I have been able to use my scientific expertise from the real world to give these lands the attention they deserve and hopefully shed a bit of light on their most confusing and mysterious aspects.
I was brought into this wiki by my good friend Creative Sushi, and since then, I have enjoyed taking part in discussions in and out of the universe of Pikmin and have done my best to lend my scientific expertise to the group in understanding the more peculiar aspects of the Pikmin universe. Though I might not have a lot of spare time to help out with the site itself all of the time, I do what I can to add to ongoing discussions and assist the group in any way that I can. Hopefully, once I have some more free time on my hands away from work, I will be able to contribute more to the wiki.
Outside of here, in the real world, I am a Master’s student at Drexel University, working to get a Master of Science degree in Education along with a teaching certification. It is my eventual goal to teach at the university level, as I adore teaching and wish to do my part to continue the spread of science in the world and enlighten others as to what is really out there in the universe. My specialties are Geology and especially Paleontology, with a decent background in Biology and Theoretical Physics as well. I am an active researcher of all things in my spare time and possess a great deal of knowledge on a variety of subjects; when it comes to academics, I am truly a jack-of-all-trades, a rare thing to see in the modern world.
If you wish to take a look at my work, the link to my Pikmin material is below. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me; my work might prevent me from always answering in a timely fashion, but I will do my best to answer any and all messages directed at me. Thanks for taking the time to read my short introduction, and have a pleasant day.
