This happened late November, so details might be sketchy and I don't know how to recreate it unfortunately. While playing Fortress of Festivity solo, Alph would sometimes run in place like he was on a treadmil, provided he wasn't controlled by a player. Additionally, you could push him with another captain and make him slide quite a large distance. I don't think this would be exclusive to him or singleplayer, but I'm not sure. I did take a potato quality video of it, but that's all I have. gfycat.com/TemptingPowerfulHorseshoebatIf I remember correctly, it had something to do with the bamboo gate at start. (Somewhat unrelated, but not big enough for it's own thread, in 3 pikmin drown twice as fast with ultra-spicy spray applied than without it.)

That's very interesting... Let me know if you end up figuring out how to recreate it. I'll try seeing if I can recreate it too.

If Alph is not affected by gravity when this happens (I have an inkling that that's the case), then this could very well be used for some sick exploits!

Hello! I think I know how to reproduce that glitch (more precisely, how to have any leader run in place). Basically, you have to use the Go Here! function and point the kind of blue pyramid (http://www.pikminwiki.com/images/8/8f/GoHerePyramid.png) very close to a wall. With some luck you may be able to have the leader run in place. I hope this helps.
