Well, I suppose that this is my own fan game. I posted this on Fantendo as well, but--I'm just going to forget about it. I'm too lazy to change things from here to that.
Please tell me if I did this wrong. This is my very first post.
Story
So, the story goes, two bandits from Hocotate learn of PNF-404. They're greedy for money and try to overthrow Olimar's company and--steal a ship. Woohoo. BUT-- when the President persuades Olimar to go stop them, he comes along too. And so does Olimar's son. However, when Olimar and crew arrive, they learn that in their rather short absence, the puffstools have overtaken the planet, and infected the inhabitants. Olimar must collect treasure and save the planet from becoming completely infested. Yeah, kinda lame reason to go back, but I still like the spore idea. Oh, and Louie would join you for some short time at some point.
Gameplay Mechanics
I don't have that many ideas, but I did have one that Pikmin can equip other objects besides bomb rocks, like leaves. If you throw a pikmin carrying a leaf, they will glide farther and be able to be thrown farther. Skitterleafs are not able to be used for reproduction anymore, but can be equipped as leaves. When the pikmin lands on top of an enemy or on the ground, the leaf will crumble.
Another thing I had in mind was after the day, there would be a short LIVE video conversation between random characters.
Characters in LIVE conversations
*Olimar's Wife would be the most likely to appear, and mentioning silly things, and even taking Bulbie to the circus, which would have Olimar's son butt into the conversation.
*Instead of Olimar's Wife, Bulbie would appear, and Olimar would wave before signing off to sleep.
*Olimar will have flash backs [which are disguised as gameplay tips] about his daughter, but she could occasionally join in a conversation with her parents.
*Instead of Olimar talking to his wife, it would sometimes be Louie to his grandma.
*Alph, Brittany, and Charlie can talk to Olimar after the day. And sometimes Charlie's rubber duck will appear instead of him, making him the least likely to appear in the game.
So, these are my fan-pikmin.
Mantis Pikmin
These guys are my Greens (Or Myrtle, if you will). They have long blades at the end of their arms. They are very slow and cannot be thrown far or high at all, but are very strong, and it is difficult for enemies to shake them off. They can climb steep ledges that have holes in them to get over obstacles and some walls.
Cyan Pikmin
These pikmin are wind-resistent, and the lightest pikmin. Despite this, they cannot be thrown higher than Yellows, but can keep a leaf after being blown by the wind, and if they equip a leaf, they can fly farther than other pikmin.
Wogmin
These are like the Bulbmin, but Wollywogs instead. They are immune to water and explosions, and somewhat like the rock pikmin, cannot latch on enemies. They will keep trying to bounce on top of them to deal damage. Their mobility and attack strength is weak but can be thrown just a little farther than most pikmin.
Areas
Gigantic Garden: The Tutorial Area, and based on Spring. Red Pikmin and Mantis Pikmin are found here. Bosses: Loopy Skitter-String, Queen Shearpill.
Forest of Confidence: Based on Winter. Yellow Pikmin are found here. Bosses: Bearded Scamprat, Mashing Long-Legs.
Broil-Lands: Based on a windy volcanic mountain. Easy for Pikmin to be thrown off and instantly die. Cyan Pikmin are found here. Bosses: Plunging Snarrow, Husked Cannon Beetle King.
Prarie of Prosperity: Based on a prarie, obviously. Blue Pikmin and Wogmin are found here. Bosses: Polycephalous Snagret, Parched Barrenstark.
Faraway Field: The Final Area. Based on no particular area. Bosses: Spined Shieldshot, Catastrophic Sporestool.
Some Unique Enemies
[Not all]
(Puffhog, Wollypuff, Dissonant Sprint Beetle and Puffish Aristocrab emit spores instead of whatever they spit out. Wollypuff creates spores when it lands)
Buzzlefea - A round bug, shaped like a sheargrub, but with wings, and will not eat pikmin. It lands on creature corpses that have not been taken to the onion, and when pikmin try to pull the corpse, it will emit a dust that will panic them. If it lands on a corpse the pikmin are trying to carry, it will also emit the dust. Can be killed in one hit.
Pellet Poser - A bug disguised as either a 1, 5, 10 or 20 Pellet lying on the ground.
Posy Poser - A creature disguised as an entire Pelly Posy that will try to eat pikmin trying to "knock" down the pellet.
Sizable Sophisticrab - Larger than the Peckish Aristocrab, it has small claws and two larger ones. The large claws sweep the ground in front of it, and the small ones throw pikmin off of it. Cannot blow bubbles.
Stalking Rattleflick- It waits until the day is nearly over to spawn, and will stalk your active captain, rather eerily before eventually catching up to gobble up some pikmin. A short warning noise will sound before it attacks.
Puffshrimp - A baby version of the puffstool. Cannot defend itself.
Nettlesome Puffstool - It produces a blue fog that will deal heavy damage to captains and electrocute pikmin. The fog triggers any explosives in its radius.
Fluttering Puffstool - A winged, but unstable puffstool. It will drop poison (not spores) with its wings as it flies, and when captains and pikmin stray far enough, it will remain dormant, when it is most vulnerable.
Flickerflare Beetle - A creature like the Antenna Beetle, but it has a cone on its head, and when it makes a noise with its wings, it will catch fire and hop around after the closest captain, trying to ignite non-red pikmin. It will eventually extinguish, and self-destruct if not killed. Not as fatal as bomb rock explosion.
Well, that's about it. That's all I really wanted to show off. I mean, if you want to say you liked it or whatever. I spent like, 2 hours on this page trying to set this up for y'all.
Please tell me if I did this wrong. This is my very first post.
