As I'm sure everyone knows, the Switch was revealed just a couple days ago. And it pretty much confirms most of the things we knew about it, but boy, it looks phenomenal! The portability of it is self explanatory, but we're talking BotW on the go!! And basically any other game that comes out for it! And also, the Joy-Cons. We knew that it was likely going to have detachable controllers, but seeing the real deal in action...wow. It's pretty darn amazing. From the trailer alone, there are at least 5 different ways to play, and I'm just impressed with how simple yet versatile it is. One thing that I noticed: there seems to be a lot of emphasis on using just one Joy-Con when doing multiplayer. This means that you only have the stick, ABXY/d-pad buttons, shoulder (and possibly trigger?) button(s), and the +/- buttons. That doesn't really seem like a lot...then again, multiplayer games on the Wii often had people use the Wiimote by itself, and that wasn't so much of an issue (possibility-wise) so I digress. The idea is really neat, and I look forward to the possibilities that they hold! The whole Switch is shaping up to be a great console imo.
Now, enough of my opinions... what do y'all think of it? I want to hear your impressions.

I was SOO happy with everything they showed in the trailer! The fact that I can play games with the joy-cons will bring back the days when I used to play wii games with a wii remote and nunchuk. The fact that you can play the switch ANYWHERE is freaking awesome! Zelda games never appealed to me, so I couldn't ride the hype train when they were showing breath of wind, but the new Mario game looks pretty cool! I have no idea whether they're making another Mario kart/Splatoon yet, or if those are just wii u versions on the Switch console. I'm also curious if we'll be able to play 3DS games on the Switch due to it using cartridges (the fact that the wii u can play ds games may mean nintendo's been working on making the Switch play 3DS games, or possible DS games as well). The fact that the Switch doesn't seem to have a CD drive might mean that the only way to play Wii U games you own on the switch would be through downloading it on the eshop (which means you all should keep your wii u's, unless you want to rebuy the games on the cartridges/eshop). There's also been rumors going around that says that there'll be different joy-cons that we'll be able to use to play certain games, or play games in different styles (like gamecube controller like joy-cons).
That's all I can think about for now when it comes to the Switch.
