Enemy Bio
The Sudoric Bulblax is constantly covered in a thick layer of sweat, therefore the only way to attack it is to either use Blue Pikmin or bomb-rocks. The eyes have a thick covering of solidified sweat which makes it impervious to attacks to its eyes. This can be countered however with the use of carefully aimed rock pikmin, which can destroy the protective covering. Once destroyed, the covering of sweat will not solidify until the bulblax goes back to sleep, which in time, will cause the sweat on it's eyes to solidify again.
Olimar's Notes
This grub-dog has developed the odd trait of using its perspiration as a means of defense. It also has a false nictitating membrane completely made out of crystallized perspiration.
Louie's Notes
This beast may look and smell unappetizing, but its sweat is actually quite a delectable sauce, suitable for just about any entrée.

I can see that being a reality if the Fiery Bulblax returns. It would also give Blue Pikmin some more worth, seeing as they don't really do much other than go underwater. Though it is a very useful trait, it's all they have.

Hey, I finished a render of the Sudoric Bulblax for you. Let me know if you'd like any changes made to the render, I have the model safely stored on my computer! Creating this model made me realize a few things about Olimar's notes on it. While the crystallized sweat over the eyes is an awesome defense you should definitely keep, I don't know if crystallized sweat can act as a nictitating membrane, since such membranes are designed to blink just like other eyelids ("to nictitate" also means "to blink"). You could simply say the eyes are encased in sweat, or a compound of sweat mixed with something specially secreted by the eyes. Just a suggestion, thanks for the request!

You mentioned the armor on the eyes being crystallized. Are you intending Rock Pikmin are also used to attack the eyes making the fight easier?

Pretty cool idea! Seems like a fun (but gross) enemy. If this was in Pikmin 2, the ship would hate it with a passion XD

Alright, so while Scruffy is to credit for the awesome render, this thread is about the idea itself, so from here on, let's try to keep conversation about the Enemy. Ok?

Scruffy's render is just soooooo good. Very artistic. How creative of a concept for him to make. He should try to write up some information on how this enemy works.

I tried to say earlier that since it has crystal on its eyes, Rock Pikmin could also be helpful for attacking its weaker point. Or am I completely wrong and the stuff on its eyes is just a liquid?
