I'm sure you all know Splatoon's matchmaking is broken, but this is just too much for me. I got Splatoon for Christmas, but I never imagined I'd have to deal with these shenanigans. I keep joining groups that are made almost entirely of Japanese people, and it's just bonkers. Even during the daytime, there's at least four people in a group that are Japanese...what the heck? And the levels are off, too. I'm sitting at level 26 right now, and sometimes I join groups that are ridiculously low-leveled or ridiculously high-leveled. One time I joined a group that had four level 50's in it. Four! Ugh... Sorry, just needed to get this off my chest.

Maybe being in the level 20's screws with the matchmaking... Hopefully I get better matchmaking soon. |

The broken matchmaking was a huge help for me this Splatfest. The opponents were almost always severely under-leveled. My team only lost like 6 of the 40+ matches I had.

I wonder what Splatfest is like, considering I've only had the game since Christmas. Oh, also, I'm using motion controls now, and I'm starting to get used to them. Finding myself splatting more people now, but I still keep getting paired up with insanely good Japanese players... It's really rough. |
