HELP I HAVE COMPULSIVE AVATAR CHANGING DISORDER

I was playing Pikmin 2, and in the End of Day cutscene, a bunch of red sprouts come out of the Onion after all the Reds in my squad went back in. I didn't grow any Pikmin, only had 72 reds in my squad and nothing else. When I came back on Day 4, they were not there. What happened?
It was Day 3 and I was in the Awakening Wood, and I had completed the Hole of Beasts, White Flower Garden and unlocked the Perplexing Pool on the same day. I Reset the console so it should still be on Day 4. Should note I was playing the Wii PAL version.

I, uh... well... I guess you broke Pikmin 2. Apparently I did. I played more recently and went back to the Awakening Wood with yellows and they still weren't there. I seriously have no idea what went on there.

Well the Wii ports have a LOT of glitches so don't be too surprised. As weird as this sounds, the GameCube versions work much better for me then the Wii versions (I also play PAL). Ironically enough, NPC! Pikmin 2 fixed the Early Blues glitch...

I hope we can find a way to recreate this glitch. Because that would mean that all games have a different "Pikmin staying behind except not really" glitch on the sunset cutscenes. Pikmin has it, and Pikmin 3 has not one, but two glitches of the sort.
