So for my English homework, I had to make alternate versions of specific poems keeping the original style. I got a bit nerdy with it and made them all Pikmin related. Here's the result:
The Red Pikmin (Parody of William Carlos Williams' The Red Wheelbarrow)
So much depends upon a red Pikmin ready to attack thrown at the enemy
Stealing from the orbiting spaceship (Parody of Robert Frost's Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening)
Whose food is this I think I know This ship is in the sky though; Their sleepy eyes won't see me here as I bring this ship below
The Glowcap (Parody of William Blake's The Tiger)
Glowcap, glowcap, glowing in waves in the darkness of the caves, hide me from the dark-loving beast so I can make a hasty retreat
Love that Pikmin (Parody of Walter Dean Myers' Love that boy) Love that Pikmin like a bulborb loves to sleep I said love that Pikmin like a bulborb loves to sleep Love to call him with my whistle love to call him "GET OVER HERE"
Bulborb (Parody of Valerie Worth's Dog) Under the giant tree the bulborb lies down, spreads its legs, yawns, looks around, finds its dwarf counterpart just waking up walking freely. It's Daytime. the bulborb closes its eyes sleeps through the whole day... until the captains come.

Neat! I've never heard the original poems before but these are pretty cool parodies!
